Rule enforcement: Create and maintain rules and regulations for student conduct, dress code, and campus discipline. Monitor adherence to important rules such as wearing ID cards, prohibition of mobile phones in classrooms, and restrictions on smoking within campus. Ensure students do not loiter or leave campus without permission.

Maintain proper documentation of disciplinary cases and inform concerned authorities such as parents, Principal, or Director when necessary.
Promoting a positive environment: Create a safe and peaceful learning atmosphere. Encourage self-discipline, good behaviour, and responsibility among students. Assist in preventing bullying and coordinate with the Anti-Ragging Committee whenever required.
Advisory and supportive functions: Advise the administration on student behaviour and disciplinary improvements. Act as a communication point for students, staff, and parents regarding disciplinary concerns. Contribute towards maintaining order and ensuring the smooth functioning of the institution.
Support and guidance: Provide academic, counseling, and professional support to OBC students and staff, including assistance in personality development, communication skills, and remedial coaching.
Grievance redressal: Serve as a platform for addressing and resolving complaints or rights-related issues faced by OBC students, faculty, and staff in a fair and effective manner.
Promote equal opportunity: Ensure equitable access to admissions, scholarships, and other welfare schemes for OBC candidates within the institution.
Facilitate financial support: Assist eligible students in applying for and availing government scholarships, fellowships, and various financial aid programs.
Capacity building: Conduct trainings, workshops, and initiatives for improving skills, academic excellence, and professional growth of OBC students.
Information and awareness: Disseminate government policies, notifications, and beneficial schemes related to OBC welfare. Collect and maintain data regarding the educational and employment status of OBC students and staff.
Create an inclusive environment: Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus atmosphere where OBC students feel encouraged to actively engage and succeed in college life.
Receive and examine complaints: Accept written grievances from individual students or groups on issues related to admission, fees, scholarships, library facilities, and internal assessments.
Investigate grievances: Conduct a thorough investigation into complaints by gathering relevant information, reviewing documents, and interviewing concerned individuals to understand the issue accurately.
Ensure fairness and impartiality: Address grievances in a fair, unbiased, and confidential manner, ensuring students feel safe and valued while expressing their concerns.
Coordinate with departments: Act as a bridge between students and institutional departments to facilitate proper communication and guide students toward effective solutions.
Provide resolutions: Recommend actions to appropriate authorities and ensure timely resolution of grievances, preferably within 15 working days.
Escalate unresolved cases: Refer cases to higher authorities, such as the Ombudsperson, if the grievance remains unresolved at the committee level.
Recommend action: Suggest necessary action against complainants in case grievances are found to be false or baseless after investigation.
