The Electrical Engineering department at Jhadeswar Engineering College is started the year of 2025 with intake capacity of 120 seats and committed to provide high-quality education, innovative research opportunities, and a supportive learning environment. Our objective is to produce skilled and knowledgeable Electrical engineers who can excel in industries such as automotive, energy, manufacturing and power transmission. The department is equipped with advanced labs like- Industrial Automation, Power Electronics, Micro Grids, Advanced Manufacturing, Networking & Cyber Security, PLC & SCADA etc.

The department is likely to collaborate soon with institute of eminence like- IITs, NITs and other technological universities for its innovation, start-up and research activities. The department has highly qualified and experienced staff members from various reputed institutions who are the key functionaries in the department to shape the students as the workforce for the state and central government as well as current industry needs.
